“Meet the World - volunteer for change", is a cultural and language exchange program through which you can work as a volunteer in Morocco. The volunteers will stay with their host families or organizations as language tutors helping them improve their language, meanwhile, the volunteers are expected to engage with the Moroccan society by working at local youth centers, orphanage, student centers as well as taking part in MasterPeace Morocco activities. Giving conversational or spoken language lessons for 4 hours per day to the host family and doing social work allow our volunteers to have better understanding of the Moroccan lifestyle and their culture in addition to having free weekends that give you a chance to go around and see the diverse Moroccan cities and make local friends. This is a unique opportunity to develop both professional and personal experiences since no teaching experience is required.


  • Stay for a minimum of 15 days and maximum of 3 months. There is the possibility of expansion beyond 3 months if both parties consent;
  • Living among the Moroccan cultural atmosphere of the host family;
  • Enriching the volunteer’s linguistic repertoire by learning basic Moroccan languages;
  • Exploring other cities or activities during free time at weekends;
  • Occasional invitations to special events;
  • Experience in creating your own successful teaching strategies for any future career use;
  • Increasing your confidence and self-reliance and adaptability.

Who can Apply

  • Be between 18 to 40 years old;
  • Be a native speaker of the language you want to teach, except for English, you have to prove that you muster the language;
  • Must be at least a high school graduate or college students;
  • Must have the ability to prepare a private and creative tutoring lesson plan;
  • Be in good mental and physical health;
  • The participant should respect the culture and beliefs of the host family.


Our language teacher-volunteers will be matched with a host family/organization, depending on the best fit regarding interests and language tutoring needs. Host families differs in size, beliefs and way of life, might include a religious families, modern families, retired couple or families with small children or many.

All volunteers will be given their own single room in the host family’s house, but you may share a bathroom and living space with the family. The volunteers will live with a local host family during the program in their house which might be located in small towns or urban areas, we encourage our teachers to be flexible about the place you will stay, as we cannot guarantee placement in a specific region or city.

You will receive your host family/organization contact information before departure from your country. Host families apply to in a similar way to participants and our organization will check and accept only suitable families to the volunteers based on place of living, safety, family background and language of interest.Prospective host families undergo a rigorous screening process. Participants can rest assured that only suitable host families will be selected.
